Do you sometimes feel like crawling into a corner and cry yourself to sleep, hoping that when you wake up someone else would have solved your problems?
When you were a child, you could turn around and hand over your problems to a parent, grand-parent or other adult. As an adult, “you are it.” But you don’t have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders if you turn to expert help.
No vacation for us this Spring Break
Last week our family was supposed to enjoy a week at the beach, but instead we had to stay home supervising emergency repairs to our kitchen, dining area and master bedroom.
Let me tell you, it was an ordeal. The work is ongoing and more than a week later our home is still in chaos. Two days ago we got back the use of the stove and today we’ll finally be able to use the sink. In one more week, we’ll even have a working dishwasher.
It will end well, but only because my husband and I knew who to call when all this happened, and we were willing to follow expert guidance.
Watch the video below for the whole story.
